  • Visiting June Rowlands Park in Midtown Toronto with a baby

    Introduction

    I live in Midtown Toronto

    Back in Korea, my husband and I spent a lot of time thinking and preparing before choosing this neighborhood for our one-year stay.

    Midtown is very convenient, with grocery stores, restaurants, and subway access all nearby.

    Today, I’d like to introduce one of my 14-month-old baby’s favorite place β€” June Rowlands Park! 🌿

      By Subway: The nearest station is Davisville(Line 1), about a 7-minute walk to park
      By Car: You can usually park on the nearby streets, but make sure to check the parking signs before leaving your car
      By Stroller/On Foot: The paths are stroller-friendly, making it easy for families with babies
    πŸ› Playground & Baby-Friendly Facilities

    You can enjoy the wide green lawn, flowers, and even squirrels, which bring you closer to nature.

    There are picnic tables where you can sit down and have a simple snack

    The playground includes a small slide for toddles, safe swings, a sandbox for play, and a soft wood chip surface for safety.

    In the summer, the splash pad makes it a perfect place to cool off and have fun.

    I visit June Rowlands Park almost every day with my baby

    It’s a wonderful place to spend quality time together

    We enjoy talking short walks, having simple snacks at the picnic tables, and just relaxing in the fresh air
